How to Beat Any Halo Game on Legendary

First off, any one whose has tried a Halo game on legendary knows at least one thing; don't rush in and try to overgee your enemy with sheer power or force, you won't win. In the Halo franchise the only way to beat the game is to do this: conserve ammo and grenades- even if you have to walk back to a old battle scene to pick up ammo always do so. Try to pick off your enemys one by one, starting with the grunt, use the pistol to single shot them in the head. With elites you either need to be sneaky and hit them in the back, stick them with a grenade, or drop their shields with a plasma pistol. I always tried to avoid using alien weapons in Halofor some reason and resently realized what a fool I was; weapons like the plasma pistol, or needler are what get you threw the game on legendary because they are so easily available. Alien weapons are most effective against the covenant, and have the most ammo lying around. Also on legendary remember to never attack covenant when your shields are partially down, this can cause the death of you before you even know it. Another healthy tip is to maximize performance of your troops around you, if you let them go out by themselves, they'll be killed almost instantly, but if you aid them and fight along side them you might find that your troops will last longer than you expected and provide great distractions. Lastly always keep an eye on when you get a checkpoint; if you haven't gotten a checkpoint in awhile be extra precautious so that you don't have to fight threw everything again to get close to that checkpoint.
