I am both a buyer and a seller.I often shop okay for rare items of clothing, discontinued items, hard-to-find pieces, etc. I often see clothing that I've never seen before in local stores that spark my interest. However, if it is one thing I do NOT understand it is WHY the LACK of DETAILS on garment listings?? Do you, the seller, think that we potential buyers KNOW the EXACT measurements ofyour size "Large" of an item that we've NEVER seen before?? Do you, the seller, think that we automatically know what the back of that garment looks like? Well, WE DO NOT.....
This may seem elementary to some, but if you plan to list ANY clothing on okay, please invest in some kind of measuring tape(preferrably a flexible one) and learn how to properly use it (1/4", 1/2", 3/4", etc). You can miss potential sales because a buyer may not have, or takethe time tomessage youwith questions (just like they don't take time to vote, lol). It is IMPERATIVE that you take the time to list as MANY DETAILS as possible about the garment if you want a sale. We, as buyers, often look thru HUNDREDS of items per search, and we cannot always take time tosend messages toeach buyer and wait for the responses. And sometimesbuyers find listings with only2-3 hours left and sellers cannot respond in time. You could have closed that sale....now you have to re-list.
Listings such as this one below, really, reallyannoy me....
"Beautiful Black leather jacket, never worn, great condition, size Large".
