Selling to Buyers with no or low feedback

We have been buying and selling on okay since 1998. In that time we have experianced many buying and selling practices from other new members. Many of which never stay on okay because of the way they do business . The ones that do remain, usually end up changing their ID's several times to screw people over and over.
We have experianced that many new buyers with 0 or less than 20 feedbacks , don't know the rules and regulations set forth by okay. As a seller it is important to state in you desricption your buying and selling rules that you'd like you buyers to follow. Whether it be a set shipping and handling fee, or if you want payment be a certain time line. Even if you limit your sales to certain countries. Make sure it's in your description.
Also try to desribe the item you are selling the best you can, any little mistake could cost you negative feedback and a loss of insertion fees. We've had so many problems with this. Especially when we are selling for someone else. We've received ten negative feedbacks over something that we had no control over and the buyer would cooperate when trying to resolve the issue.
We've also had people buy an item that was described in detail, but after they bought it didn't understand certain facts about the item because they didn't read all of your description.
It's our opinion that okay should not allow negative feedback from new members until they have had at least one year of buying experiance on okay or they have at least 50 positive feedbacks and have should a positive buying policy over a probation period.
This way us more seasoned sellers don't have to worry about new members posting false and retalitory feedback against someone who has been selling positively for many years.
We'd like to hear from you if you have an opinion on this subject. Thanks for reading.
5-28-08 Now that E-bay has taken away seller's right to defend themselves against these typres of buyers, I will boycott okay by not selling . I hope many other sellers will do the same, till okay gets their head out of you know where and give us our rights to post negative feedback against these buyer's who cause our ratings to go bad. Stupid move on okay's part.
