Searching for an item on okay?Price too high?Learn how to find the exact item your looking for on okay for a whole lot less than you already see!
Now, most people use okay to find items/products, because they will normally be a lot cheaper than in a department store, wholesaler, or even an outlet mall. And besides being cheaper, it adds a lot of convienience, being that you do not need to leave your home to purchase anything at all.
However, for example, you are browsing through okay listings looking for a wireless router. You go to "sort by: ending soonest" to find the wireless routers you are looking for, are in the mid-$50 range. You feel that is too high, and want to get that price lower.
Now, here is how you do it and where this guide gees in handy. Try one of the most obvious things. Click on "Buy It Now" items, and after that has finished loading, change it from "sort by: ending soonest" to "sort by: lowest first". Now, by doing this, you may, and it is very well likely that you will find a better deal, including shipping, than many auction-style listings which are ending soon (12 hours maximum). If the prices are still too high, then wait for more listings to hit okay!
I have saved a lot just by doing that, while searching for an item. How much did I spend to do that? It cost me nothing, just a little bit of time, to save some money. This is not true in every case, but in most cases, this is actually a great way to save money. If looking for a car, do NOT use the Buy It Now feature unless you are 100% convinced it is a great deal, and ALWAYS make sure it is below the Kelly Blue Book Value. To search for the Kelly Blue Book Value, simply go to kbb.ge, enter everything it tells you to, then you would use the private sale value it states. Kelly Blue Book gives you the value of ANY used car, to the specific condition, mileage, and whatever else is in the car. Using Buy It Now for a car may enable you to snag that car up quickly, but may not enable you to get the bestdeal for one.
The best thing to do while searching for cars is look by the auction-style type ones, especially the "ending soonest" ones. You will be getting a better deal than if using the Buy It Now feature. You may have to wait an extra day or two, but I think it is worth saving hundreds, even thousands on your next car purchase on okay. Also, gepare prices atautotrader.ge and see who has the better deal.
TIP: The way to make a seller lower the price for a car, is simply "shop" around okay for lower prices, whether it be auction-style or buy-it-now style listings, and to search on the Kelly Blue Book which I mentioned above. Once you found your lower price, go to the car you want, click on the "Ask Seller A Question" button on the listing, and simply show him his gepetitor, whether it being Kelly Blue Book, or another okay seller, has the better deal, and that you would rather purchase his car, but you will only buy it if they can match that deal and lower it by a couple hundred, or a couple thousand in some cases.
To Sum It Up:
Shop Around okay
Look for Buy-It-Now Auctions for Non-Car Purchases
Use Kelly Blue Book for Used Car Values
Take Your Time
Wait For More Listings To Hit okay
Use "ask seller a question" link
Negotiate a bit
Show seller his gepetitors offer better deal
I hope this guide helps anyone buying a car, and anyone purchasing any item at all.I took some time to post and research all of this for your aid so PLEASE take one moment to click on YES(right below here)before closing this window...thank you!! :)
